KSRTC provides direct bus service to Saundatti from Bangalore. So we booked tickets in KSRTC for Rajahamsa bus service, It costed 590/- per head from Bangalore. We also booked return tickets as we thought its very important.
We left at 9:30 PM on Friday night and reached Saundatti at 7:30 AM Saturday, I had already enquired in Shivani hotel for room bookings (Important to book over call before you plan). Backside of the Saundatti Bus stop we can find Shivani Hotel. Shivani hotel is pretty decent. Room charges were 400 with TV.
After getting freshen up , we took a KSRTC bus to Saundatti Yellamma Temple, which is around 8 kms from Saundatti city. It is located on top of the hill.

Crowd wasn't large so entire visit can easily get over within 3 hrs. Not sure during Jaathre (festival for god).

After finishing, came down to room, and in evening we left for  Malaprabha Dam which is located around 13km from Saundatti enroute to Gokak. Again you get good service Buses to reach there. It is around 1km walk from the main road where bus will drop you.

Dam is maintained nice, It has a park also for children to enjoy. Few of pics attached below.

After spending some good time, we came back to room.
From room we were able to see one fort located on top of Saundatti hill. When enquired, came to know that it is Kaadusiddeshwara swamy Temple fort. People said there were many film shooting happened there. It is located at walk able distance around 1km.

Fort is beautiful and cleanly maintained. It is worth visiting fort. Inside the fort there is KaaduSiddeshwara temple.
It was 26th January, so Republic day. A big flag was hoisted on top fort, which really impressed me.
There is a history behind this fort, which i wont be talking here. Refer pics.
